Turning the Wheel Community Reconnection
For space holders, facilitators, practitioners, counsellors and therapists in the mental health field.
Building communities of support is an important act of nourishment. Especially for those working in the mental health field, who so often facilitate holding space for others.
As space holders, facilitators and practitioners, we often have great capacity to show up for others and at times, can leave limited resources for all the other parts that make us who you are.
Community reconnection offers space for collective holding, grounded in the knowledge that nothing in this world lives in isolation. Neither should we.
ABOUT THIS EVENT
This is unlike traditional peer spaces. Turning the Wheel Community Reconnection follows the wheel of the year. Making space to notice the seasonal changes that happen around us and with in us.
Turning the Wheel is a community space to come together to remember the lessons of nature, to ground into our roots, to reach up, to gather, to observe, to pause, to wonder, to fold and unfold, too bumble, to be curious; together.
A space, held by nature to show up just as we are. An offering back to ourselves.
Coming together in community is a radical act of self care.
There will be 8 points in the year to come together to watch the season's transitions.
Each will be themed according to what is reflected in each turning of the wheel.
